Crabgrass: the digitarian organization

The Ron Paul phenomenon the greatest grassroots campaign in the history of American politics, and it has been systematically ignored and shunned by the large media. Collectively known as the “Ron Paul Revolution” this movement has it’s foundation in the message of freedom rather than the man whose name is so closely associated with it. This coalition represents a silent majority of well-informed citizens, no longer silent.

Out of obscurity, a bold movement has arisen demanding a return to individual liberty and limited government under Constitutional Law. Heralded as the Second American Revolution, this freedom movement has erupted with a non-violent "call to arms" for the cause of liberty. Detractors have used the term "Crabgrass" to describe this movement. Why? Because crabgrass is a weed that takes over your lawn, it spreads quickly and is very hard to get rid of it. Yes, I would say that does describe our freedom movement! We are crabgrass, this Revolution is permanent!

Distinctively decentralized, this digitaria organization is both fluid in nature and fiercely autonomous in character. Unhinged from any traditional hierarchal structure, this movement is horizontal rather than vertical, spontaneous rather than premeditated and bottom-up rather than top-down. State by State, city by city, township by township, this movement is gaining local influence nation-wide. Utilizing the networking tools of the Internet, this virtual movement is becoming a political force in the non-virtual world.
